Meet Dr. Ghaname
Dr. Eduardo Ghaname, a native of Aracatuba, Brazil, received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Sao Paulo in 1996. After a year in practice, he decided to leave Brazil and pursue further education in Canada and the U.S., where he received Master’s of Science degrees from both the University of British Columbia and the University of North Carolina in dental materials and restorative dentistry, respectively.
Upon completing his M.S. at UNC, he pursued his interests in Endodontics at the University of Michigan where he received his M.S. degree in the specialty of Endodontics in 2011. Since completing his education, he has worked in private practice, as well as on faculty at the University of Michigan Dental School where he maintains an appointment, and visits once a year offering lectures to the Endodontic graduate students.
Dr. Ghaname has published multiple research articles in the field of dentistry, and has presented his research at several meetings including the International Association of Dental Researchers, and the American Association of Endodontics. He continues to offer continuing education courses in endodontics for general dentists. Outside of work, Dr. Ghaname loves to spend his time with his wife and three children.
