Important Information Regarding COVID-19
As dedicated health care professionals, we want you to know that we remain as diligent as ever in protecting the health and safety of our patients and team. Our practice strictly adheres to and exceeds the standards set out by Alberta Health Services and the Alberta Dental Association & College (ADA&C). These standards for infection control include wearing personal protective gear, using hospital-grade disinfectants, practicing the latest sterilization protocols, utilizing single-use disposable materials, reducing the amount of patients in the office, and more. Upon visiting our office, your temperature will also be taken and our Covid-19 Dental Treatment consent form must be completed. Every effort we have in place is to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. We want you to know that we are monitoring this situation very closely, and we will keep you updated regularly.
CMOH Order 05-2020 legally obligates any person who has the following core symptoms of cough, fever, shortness of breath, runny nose, or sore throat (that is not related to a pre-existing illness or health condition) to be in isolation (quarantine) for 10 days from the start of symptoms, or until symptoms resolve, whichever takes longer, or they receive a negative COVID Test. If they are exhibiting any of these symptoms, it is suggested they complete the COVID-19 Self-Assessment online tool to determine if they should be tested.
For the safety and protection of our community, the City of Calgary requires people to wear face coverings or masks in indoor public areas and public vehicles, with few exceptions.
We thank you in advance and extend our gratitude for your understanding and cooperation. Together, we can help keep everyone as safe and healthy as possible. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our office, and one of our team members will be more than happy to assist you.
